As part of providing ethical and professional care, I maintain clear boundaries and communication guidelines when it comes to digital platforms and electronic communication.

Please note that standard email, text messaging, and social media platforms are not secure or HIPAA-compliant. While I take steps to safeguard your privacy, I ask that you not use these channels to share clinical or sensitive information. They are intended for brief administrative matters only, such as scheduling or rescheduling appointments.

• I may use text or email to confirm appointments or coordinate logistics only with your written consent, as documented in this form.
• I do not provide therapy or emergency support via text or email.
• Response times may vary. I typically return messages within 24–48 hours during business days. Messages received after hours, on weekends, or holidays may be addressed the next business day.

• To protect your confidentiality and maintain professional boundaries, I do not accept friend or contact requests on personal social media accounts (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).
• You are welcome to view publicly available material on my professional website, but please understand that I will not engage in any therapeutic communication through social media platforms.

If you are in crisis or experiencing an emergency, do not use email, text, or social media to contact me. Instead, please call 911, go to the nearest emergency room, or call the National Suicide & Crisis Lifeline at 988.

We will review this policy together at the start of therapy, and you are encouraged to ask questions at any time. I aim to ensure that our communication supports your confidentiality, safety, and the effectiveness of our work together.
